Abstract:
This procedure manual describes the research methodology for conducting an investigation on potential effects of the proposed Susitna Hydroelectric Project on birds and non-game mammals in the upper Susitna River basin. The purpose is to evaluate current animal habitats, to provide a basis for predicting faunal changes based on habitat changes caused by environmental alterations, and to evaluate mitigation measures.
