Abstract:
This letter was written by three members the Susitna Hydroelectric Project External Review Panel during its seventh meeting held in Buffalo, Nov. 18-19, 1982. It is addressed to David D. Wozniak, Project Engineer, Alaska Power Authority in Anchorage, Alaska. The letter gives comments on the 1982 summer geotechnical exploration program and its effect on the feasibility and design of the Susitna Hydroelectric Project and on the exploration program proposed for the winter of 1982-1983. Particular attention is paid to the damsite and to the relict channel.
