Abstract:
This collection includes views by Case and Draper, Winter and Pond, Frederick Ordway, and Trevor Davis. These images depict canneries and mines in Southeast Alaska, ca. 1910-1915. Some of the canneries include P.A.F. Co. (Excursion Inlet), Thlinket Packing Co. (Funter Bay and Point Retreat), Hawk Fish Co. (Hawk Inlet), Hoonah Packing Co. (Hoonah), Geo. T. Myers & Co. (Sitkoh Bay), P.C.S. Co. (Taku Harbor), and New England Fish Co. (Ketchikan). Other views include Alaska Gastineau Mining Co. (Thane), Alaska Perseverance Mining Co. (Juneau), Sheep Creek Division, Annex Creek Power Plant, and Salmon Creek Dam.
