Abstract:
The Ray C. Haman Papers consist of a diary written by Haman in 1943 while employed in construction of the Alaska Highway; 85 photographs of people, equipment, buildings, camps, ships, railroads, aerial views and landscapes, taken during highway construction; and a small amount of correspondence and travel information regarding Haman's travels to and from Alaska, circa 1944-1948. The diary also contains several poems written by Haman.
