Abstract:
Donor’s original number and title for AAF-20656 are: “M 24. Scott & Ultralite.” Donor’s original number and title for AAF-20657 are: “M 37. Alaska Outdoors.” Donor’s original number and title for AAF-20658 are: M-38.

AAF-20656 contains silent footage of Scott [Hunter?] adjusting his ski equipment and playing drums, an ultralite aircraft in flight, and man cleaning his ski gear before operating a Pisten-Bully tracked vehicle on a ski slope. AAF-20657 contains silent scenes of people skiing in Alaska. AAF-20658 is a low-resolution scan of film print AAF-20,079. The film is titled “1947 Nulakatuk Whale Feast, Barrow” and it contains scenes of whale and muktuk being distributed at the Nalukataq whale feast at Barrow, people eating and celebrating, blanket toss, men in military uniforms, Alaska Native dancers and drummers, children running and chasing after large vehicle, and more blanket toss (see also AAF-20,079 for high resolution scan without timecode).
