Abstract:
Lillian Voyne, daughter of professional gambler "Blackie" Atwater, goes to college by day and sings at her father's club by night. When a killer strikes on campus, evidence points towards Lillian, who does not want to reveal her scandalous secrets. Her boyfriend, reporter Bill Bartlett, must investigate in order to save the woman he loves from the gas chamber.
