Abstract:
Si Dennis talks about his personal background, his father working for the White Pass Railroad, growing up in Skagway, subsistence hunting, gill netting, being raised in the Tlingit tradition, his military service in Vietnam, working for the National Park Service in Skagway, restoration of historic buildings, working as a maintenance mechanic, working as a longshoreman, and the railroad starting up again in 1988.
