Abstract:
In Miami, a veteran is hired as a chauffeur by a cruel and wealthy man; he soon falls in love with the wife of his employer and the two plan to escape to Havana. In a dream sequence, he dreams they make it to Miami where the woman is murdered and he is accused of the crime. When he awakens, he is disoriented and visits the naval hospital where the doctor reminds him he is suffering from shock and takes him to a nightclub for a drink; there the sight of his employer reminds him of the escape plan which he proceeds to carry out.
