About the author: Halene Petersen Dahlstrom, youngest of Loyd and Harriet Petersen's five children, was raised in Riverton, Utah and attended local school and universities. She married Danny J. Dahlstrom in 1975 and has since lived in Wyoming, Utah, Washington, Canada, and Alaska. A mother of four children, Halene has been active in church and community as a volunteer, speaker, writer/director, counselor, and program coordinator. She has published a book of poetry and is the author of the delightful holiday story, Christmas Collections.
