Mary Miscovich provides some information, also. On July 26, Miscovich talks about an old cabin where three Russians lived; Paprika Jensen's house; Flossie Winters's place on the "line" that burned down; Olga Miscovich's wedding dinner, hosted by Mattie "Tootsie" Crosby; the "line" and woodpiles constructed to shield Marie Matheson from seeing men visiting the line; Ray Stock's cabin; Finn Annie's house; one of the earliest cabins in Flat and its owners; Joe Cummings's dog barn; John's agreement with Ray Stock for living in a cabin he owns; history of buildings owned by Ernie "Big Foot" Norman; garages and shops used by the Alaska Road Commission; closure of the Alaska Road Commission in Flat in 1955; employment under the Road Commission; a warm storage building used by Manuel Gularte and Donnelley and Sheppard; and eggs delivered in the fall and used until spring.
