Abstract:
The Ezra Jack Keats collection. Snowy day: One winter morning Peter wakes up to see that snow has fallen, covering everything in the city! What exciting adventures will be have on this snowy day? Whistle for Willie: Wouldn't it be great if Peter could whistle for his dog, Willie? He tries hard, but he can't make a sound. Peter's chair: A little sister means big trouble for Peter, first his parents paint his cradle pink, and then they paint his crib! But he won't let them paint his chair! Pet show!: Archie wants to enter his cat in the neighborhood pet show, but his cat has vanished! What will he do? A letter to Amy: Peter is having a birthday party and he sends a special invitation to a special friend. Will Amy show up? The trip: Louie moves to a new neighborhood and he is lonely without his friends, so he enters a magical world of imagination and flies back to his old home. Apt. 3: One rainy day, Sam hears the sad sounds of a harmonica. He searches the building to find the source and meets a new friend.

In the small pond: The natural beauty of animal life in a pond is depicted. Bears snores on: Some animals stop by a cave to warm up from the snow, drink tea and eat popcorn. What will Bear do when he wakes up to a lair of noisy guests? Bark, George: When George, a dog, is told to bark he says "meow" and "quack-quack" and "oink" and "moo." Can the vet help George bet his bark back? Caps for sale: A peddler falls asleep under a tree and awakens to find that all of his colorful caps are gone. The hat: A magical hat with a mind of its own goes on daring rescues and changes the life of a penniless man. The little red lighthouse and the great gray bridge: A lighthouse learns that you can still be important even if you are small.

In The story about Ping, a young duckling gets separated from his family. In The ugly duckling, a swan is raised by a loving duck mother, but endures teasing for his awkward, un-ducklike appearance. In Angus and the ducks, a live action film with narration, a puppy investigates what's making so much noise. In Cat and Canary, the unlikely friends have a great time when their owner is away. In Wings, Winnie the chicken unwittingly goes on a balloon ride with a sly fox and her friend Harriet must rescue her.
