Abstract:
Walter Roman talks about coming to Alaska, different communities that he worked in, using horses and dogs to haul mail, the use of airplanes to haul mail, the location of the Fairbanks-Circle City Trail, roadhouses along the trail, people along the trail, gold mining, and Mamie Tamura. Walter also identifies photographs from the Tacoma Public Library.
