Nancy E. Anderson is interviewed by Mike Rostad on November 22, 1994 in Kodiak, Alaska. Anderson talks about her childhood in Sitka, segregation, Alaska Native Brotherhood, attending Wrangell Institute and Mt. Edgecumbe, politicians and state leaders, a cannery job in Chignik, the 1964 earthquake and tidal wave, fishing at Uganik Bay, Koniag Inc., Kodiak Area Native Association, the formation of Alaska Federation of Natives, Karl Armstrong, native land issues, Natives of Kodiak, Alaska Tribal Council, her participation in the International Women's Year Conference, racism, and Christmas.
