Richard Waddell is interviewed by Suzan Williamson on March 10, 1993 in Kodiak, Alaska. Waddell talks about how he came to Kodiak after serving in the Air National Guard, to go shrimping out of Seldovia. He discusses his marine supply business, memories of Kodiak, changes that have come to Kodiak, shrimp fishing, fishing boats, canneries, and the 1964 earthquake as he experienced it in Seldovia.
