Abstract:
The President of the Board of Regents talks about Terris Moore's achievements and his appointment as President of the University emeritus. Honorary degrees are given to Warren G. Magnuson, James A. Michener, Paul Maurer, and Frank Peratrovich. James Nolan and William O'Neill are thanked for the service as members of the Board of Regents. Roy Madsen and Frank Doogan are congratulated on their appointment to the Board of Regents. Messages from Mike Gravel, Ted Stevens, William Egan and Richard Nixon are read. William Wood is thanked for his service to the University of Alaska.
