Abstract:
This road log and guidebook to the bedrock geology of the eastern Koyukuk basin, part of the central Brooks Range, and the east-central Arctic Slope, includes details of along the Dalton Highway from the Yukon River to Prudhoe Bay. Stratigraphy, structure, and tectonic history are emphasized. It constitutes the record of a field meeting of the AAPG-SEPM-SEG at Anchorage in May 1985.
