Abstract:
"The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Northern Region design engineers plan to replace the Snake River bridge (No. 324). This bridge is located near Milepost (MP) 7 of the Nome-Teller Highway, approximately 20-air miles northwest of Nome, Alaska (Figure 1). This report documents the conditions observed during the geotechnical foundation investigation for the project, and describes the method of exploration, soil sampling techniques, and laboratory test results."--Page 1
