Abstract
On Part One, Steven Attla, Sr. talks about killing geese, duck and goose populations, fishing for pike and whitefish, beaver trapping, moose and caribou populations, bear hunting, wolves, native beliefs about animals and birds, and important lessons his father taught him.
 
On Part Two, Steven Attla, Sr. talks about fishing for salmon and whitefish, native beliefs about trapping and fishing, goose fat, telling the weather by looking at the clouds, telling time by the stars, the introduction of the calendar, introduction of snowmachines, beaver trapping, and initial skepticism about the Iditarod.
 
On Part Three, Steven Attla, Sr., talks about the time his snowmachine fell through the ice, another time that his snowmachine broke down, and outdoor safety.
