Abstract:
This film describes and depicts the relationship of the Yup'ik people and their environment in terms of seasonal activities and shows how they attempt to maintain a balance between the subsistence way of life of the elders and the modern world of the Yup'ik teenagers, who attend "punk" dances and work out science problems on computers.
