Information collected by Karen Brewster, research associate for the Oral History Program, during a meeting with Elders in 2010: Hughes, men trade furs, Les James’ store (Abraham Oldman and Joe Beetus buying furs in Les’ store, Joe is the “not Hollywood Indian”, Abraham Lincoln is walking with fur ruff, Bill Williams is walking through village), school (June Walker holding up her hand, Clarence Oldman in middle with hand on face, Dorothy Beetus Vent next to Clarence, Katherine Linus in front after boy sits down, probably 1957 because June was about 7 years old).
