Abstract:
Images include hoar frost on trees, Anchorage International Airport terminal building, passengers disembarking from Lufthansa jet airplane (including filmmaker Victor Rovier with two men identified in notes as "Martin and Paul"), barges in Cook Inlet, drill pipe and oil facilities, gas flaring fire at Standard Oil Alaska Refinery, owl on tree limb, glacier surface, commercial salmon trollers, Alaska State Ferry dock at Wrangell, pick-up truck with camper, ferry arriving at Ketchikan, and cars departing ferry. The remaining film segments were all dated July, 1967, and contain aerial views of Wainwright, aerial views of the Will Rogers - Wiley Post memorial marker southwest of Barrow at Walakpa Bay, aerial views of Barrow and NARL, aerial views of Anaktuvuk Pass village and Anaktuvuk Pass, aerial views of Barrow, an oil drill rig on the North Slope, aerial views of the North Slope, Anaktuvuk Pass village, aerial views of Mt. McKinley and Mt. Hunter, Dall sheep, and a cow moose with calf.
