Part 1 (AAF-5652) images include Howard Hughes landing at Weeks Field in 1938, Howard Hughes in hat and Joe Crosson with cigarette, mechanics service airplane as crowds watch, Pacific Alaska Airways DC-3 airplane takes-off and PAA hangar, Wagner family Christmas celebration, canoeing and boating at Harding Lake, people swimming, view of cabins along shoreline at Harding Lake, flowers in yard at Fairbanks, women by North Pole Bakery truck, boys flying radio-controlled model airplanes, people picking berries, dauchsund dog picking and eating berries. Images outside of Alaska include hydro-electric dam, fruit trees in bloom, and people digging clams. Additional images at Fairbanks include Winter Carnival Parade, crowds, Miss Alaska arriving at carnival, train departing, ice sculptures and throne, Pioneer Brewery truck on Second Avenue, parade, and group of people camping.
