Abstract:
Millie Gray talks about her grandfather and his trading post on the Koyukuk River, her dad, freighting on the river, her mother and grandmother, raising her brothers and sisters after the death of her stepmother, making a new start in Fort Yukon, meeting her husband in Fairbanks, her father's role in the construction of Bettles Field and Evans Lodge, old timers at Bettles, and the two times she stayed with her grandmother.
