George Lounsbury talks about his personal background, his early recollections of Wiseman, stories about Wiseman oldtimers, the social life of Wiseman during the 1970s, Charlie Breck, Harry Leonard, Arctic John, why people stayed in Wiseman after the gold rush, how people used the land that is now part of Gates of the Arctic National Park, his own involvement in mining, federal management of mining, and the future of Wiseman.
