Abstract:
The Charles Crabaugh Collection consists of seventy-seven photographic transparencies, nine photographs, 3 digital prints, sixteen Red Cross messages, a letter, and two maps. Subjects of the photographs include school children, reindeer in a corral, dog teams, log houses, and Inupiaq Eskimos. The Red Cross messages and letter are from the children of Charles Crabaugh's classroom in Shungnak, Alaska, 1948-1949, addressed to Miss Mary Jane Flesher. Also included in the collection are a map of China and a map of eastern Canada.
