Abstract:
Summary: Host Moses Wassillie introduces segments on archival photographs and the 1975 Iditarod Sled Dog Race. Images include black and white transportation photographs. Additional images include interviews in Anchorage with Emmett Peters of Ruby, Sandy Hamilton of Allakaket, Carl Huntington of Koyukuk, Henry Beattus of Hughes, and Dick Mackey. Interviews at Nome are done by Orville Lake and include race winner Emmett Peters and second-place finisher Jerry Riley.
