Abstract:

Images at Point Hope include men racing umiaks, trophy presentation, soldiers by flags, harpoon competition, and Alaska Native dancers. Images at Barrow include Brower's Cafe, blue bus, Brower's Arctic Hotel, and children with puppies. Images at Anaktuvuk Pass include new school building, new houses, Heart in the Mountains Presbyterian Church sign, village scenes, log church and filmmaker Victor Rovier talking with unidentified Alaska Native man. Additional Point Hope images include sign post, children with puppy, Rovier and whale bones (several takes), tundra plants, and children playing.
