Make Prayers to the Raven was produced by KUAC-TV, University of Alaska Fairbanks, in collaboration with the people of the Koyukuk River. Based on the book by Richard K. Nelson, the program explores the ways traditional spiritual values and beliefs guide the day-to-day lives of Alaska's Athabascan Indians on the Koyukuk River.
Abstract:
Raw footage shot for production "Make Prayers to the Raven." Original videotape case is labeled: “Raven #01-aerials-Lidia net check - July 9, 1983.” Includes aerial shots of river and Huslia, and scenes of people checking nets from boat.

Information collected by Karen Brewster, research associate for the Oral History Program, during a meeting with Elders in 2010: Eleanor Simon Yatlin, Al Yatlin, Jr., and Solomon Yatlin appear in this footage.
