Abstract:
Summary: Part 1 (AAF-9473) includes man travelling on Tote Goat off-road motorcycle to deep canyon, men explore canyon, Ft. Yukon Airport sign and buildings and aerial view of Ft. Yukon. Images at Circle Hot Springs Resort including lodge, gardens, cabins, pipes at spring, and people swimming in pool, and ing light plane at airport. Additional images near Wiseman include man working on caterpillar, people panning for gold, travel in Jeep, caterpillar crossing small river, graveyard with grave fences and markers, cabins in Wiseman, people and man swoimming in Koyukuk (?), collapsed and abandoned cabins and Weisener Trading Company cabin. Part 2 (AAF-9474) contains title frame "Battle of Gold King". Images at Gold King include C-82 (?) flying boxcar landing and unloading small tracked John Deere, C-82 start and takeoff, light planes unloaded, men unload pipes and unidentified tracked vehicle from flying boxcar, equipment is moved over land and creeks, men work to extract John Deere which is stuck in bog, equipment moved to small cabin in mountains and pipe is hauled behind John Deere.
