Abstract:
The Fern A. Wallace Papers consist of more than 800 slides, both standard and glass-mounted, as well as a small number of loose photographs. The images, which were taken between the 1940s and the 1960s, include views of towns and villages in Alaska and the Yukon, wildflowers, and unidentified scenery. The collection also includes research files on Jade Mountain in northwestern Alaska and on the Alaska Marine Highway.
