Physical and biological information (fish sampling, physical lake measurements, and water chemical analysis) was collected on 13 lakes in the CD-South exploration area (between Nuiqsut and the Alpine Development in the Colville River delta). The purpose of the study is to understand the use of these waters by various fish species as oil exploration and future development require water to be extracted for ice roads and for industrial and domestic needs.
