Abstract:
Tishu Ulen talks about her husband, Joe Ulen, the telegraph office in Wiseman, her marriage in 1924, Martin Cisco, her husband working as the postmaster, military planes landing in Wiseman, the range of temperatures in Wiseman during the winter and summer, relaying information by telegraph from Barrow to Fairbanks, Jack Hood, the runway in Wiseman, preparing the runway for airplanes in the fall, the Road Commission crews and their work around Wiseman, moving the schoolhouse from Coldfoot to Wiseman, Clara Carpenter, and George Rayburn.
