H97-65-34 Side A Justus Mekiana talks about coming to Ladd Field for testing, Jack Ahgook, getting lost in Fairbanks, his first trip in an airplane, meeting Ethel at Tulugak Lake, Jesse Ahgook, Ben Ahgook, getting married in Anaktuvuk Pass in 1954, Simon Paneak, Myrtle Ahgook, his children, Myrtle Mekiana Gordon, Kenny Mekiana, Rachel Mekiana, Judy Mekiana, Victor Mekiana, Susan Mekiana, Mike Jeffrey helping with adoption papers, his grandchildren, Fred Gordon, Jackie Gordon, Daniel Gordon, May Unalina Mekiana, Judy Mekiana, Ricka Gordon, Brian Gordon, Donald Gordon, Dorothy Gordon, Bryce Gordon, Betty Mekiana, Effie Lincoln, Tom Gordon, the first summer they came to Tulugak Lake, returning to the Anaktuvuk Pass area in the fall for the caribou migration, shooting bull caribou during the fall migration, and hunting cow caribou in the winter.
