Justus Mekiana talks about how mask making was started in Anaktuvuk Pass, Bob Ahgook and Zacharias Hugo making a mask out of caribou skin for entertainment, Tom McGunn, making the first masks, making his first mold out of cottonwood and later using spruce, Ethel Ross Oliver, the different sizes of masks he makes, selling his masks in Fairbanks, making snowshoes, Ethel Mekiana and his children making masks, how he makes caribou skin masks, serving on the land committee for the village, the process for buying lots in the village, working with the Nunamiut Corporation on land issues, guides working in the area, disturbances to the caribou migration, different ways of hunting caribou is the past, Elijah Kakinya, and Maptigak Morry.
