Abstract:
Reel 1 (AAF-10850) was labeled "Umiat." Images include snowmachine travel, ice fishing, large burbot, pulling nets, Umiat (?), working on snowmachines, flight of several DeHaviland Twin Otter airplanes arriving, scenery and snowmachine travel, dead moose killed by wolves (?), and additional North Slope scenes. Reel 2 (AAF-10851) includes family ice fishing, men with ptarmigan, Summit Lake on Richardson Highway, cabin, hunting camp, riverboats, freeze-up and windy winter scene, snowmachines, camping on Homer Spit, river scenes, grayling fishing, and hunting camp scenes. Reel 3 (AAF-10852) is labeled "S.F. Expedition to Saviukviayak River 1982." Images include group of snowmachines by small building, North Slope scenes, snowmachine travel, hauling supplies, tent camp, river scenes, scientists checking fish traps, ice fishing, snowmachine travel during storm (?), packing up camp and group of snowmachines travelling back to small building.

Reel 4 (AAF-10853) is labeled "Hunting 1980, Anaktuvuk 1981, Minto 1981, Yukon 1981." Images include family at hunting camp, airplanes, man hand-propping Super Cub airplane on skis, flight and landing on snow, Cessna on skis landing, men on snowshoes ice fishing, airplanes taking off, aerial view of Cat Train, Mike Doxey and Jerry Halberg travelling by riverboat and pike fishing, Yukon 800 riverboat, Cessna floatplane taking off from lake and returning to land, aerial view of forest fires, travel by riverboat, fishing and tent camp during late, ice pans on river, and pulling net. Reel 5 (AAF-10854) is labeled "North Slope Boating 1978." Images include riverboat travel, grizzly bears on hillside, riverboat travel, tent camp, construction camp (?) on North Slope, aerial views of North Slope and Brooks Range and landing at Fairbanks. Additional images include raft trip down river, caribou, swarms of mosquitoes, arrival of Grumman Widgeon seaplane, Widgeon on tundra missing one wing pontoon, and net in river holding several fish.

Reel 6 (AAF-10855) images include river break-up, Richardson Highway travel, children playing, sled dog races, downtown Fairbanks, panorama, Dawson City, waterskiing at Harding Lake, Golden Days Parade at Fairbanks, Sheep Creek Dredge move during 1958, children in Easter clothes, Open North American Sled Dog Races and Fairbanks Winter Carnival Parade. Images from 1960 through 1966 include family at Harding Lake, 1961 Winter Carnival Parade, Harding Lake, travel outside of Alaska, 1963 North American Championship Sled Dog Race, Snowshoe baseball, scramble race, 1963 Yukon Marathon, Eskimo Olympics, 1964 Golden Days Parade, dog races, Tanana River break-up at Nenana during 1965 and snowmachines at the 1966 North American. Additional images include Harding Lake during 1966, snowmachines during March 1967, waterskiing at Harding Lake during 1967, fireworks, 1967 Chena River flood at Fairbanks, boat travel on the Salcha River, waterskiing during 1968, and Jason during 1978.
