Evolyn Melville is interviewed by Kathy Price on August 16, 2002 in North Pole, Alaska. Melville talks about her personal history as a resident of Fairbanks since she was 4 months old, living near Ladd Field beside the railroad in a neighborhood called Derby Tracts, underground corridors at Ladd Field, Fort Greely, Russians in Fairbanks during the Lend-Lease program, Fairbanks High School, and work on Ladd Field and Fairbanks.
