Abstract:
Construction of the Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project (with the building the Watana Dam) will fundamentally change the fish habitat characteristics in the inundation area. The overarching goal of this study is to predict the fish community that will develop in the Project reservoir based on the existing species and the habitat that will be created in the inundation zone, and to characterize the potential loss from entrainment.
