"Operation of the Susitna Hydroelectric Project will alter the flow regime below the projects, decreasing flows in summer as water is stored to fill the reservoirs, and increasing flows in the winter in order to meet power demand. Changes in the flow and sediment regime cause by operation of the project are not expected to significantly affect navigation downstream of the projects."--P. 1.
