Abstract:
As part of the Alaska Energy Authority's license application submitted to FERC for the proposed Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project, a study is being prepared on how construction and operation of the project would affect vegetation and wildlife habitats downstream and upstream of the proposed dam site and along access and transmission line routes. This study plan outlines the objectives and methods for characterizing and mapping existing vegetation and wildlife habitats in the project area.
