Abstract:
The goals of the multi-year invasive plant study are to: (1) assess the extent to which invasive plant species have already established in the Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project area; (2) determine whether any of the species present pose a significant ecological threat; and (3) develop the basis for invasive terrestrial and aquatic plant introduction prevention and management plans to reduce the threat of invasive species tied to Project impacts compromising natural resource values in the Project area.
