Abstract:
As part of the Alaska Energy Authority's license application submitted to FERC for the proposed Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project, studies are needed on how construction and operation will affect flow and sediment transport, which will affect aquatic habitat and channel morphology downstream of the dam. This study plan outlines baseline information need to predict potential changes to flow and to sediment supply, transport, and capacity that will occur due to the Project.
