Abstract:
The Alaska Agricultural Experiment Station at Palmer was contracted by Terrestrial Environmental System to investigate the possible effects on vegetation and related habitat values for moose of hydroelectric development on the Susitna River. A primary concern is the effect a regulated river flow may have on moose habitat within the floodplain downstream of the proposed Devil Canyon damsite.
